This E-3 visa is for a person who plans to engage in research and development of advanced industrial technology or natural science field at research laboratories upon invitation by a Korean public/private institute.

Required Documents for E-6 Visa Application (Applicant's side)
- Visa application form
- Passport (Original and Copy)
- 1 Recent Passport size Photo (3.5 x 4.5 colored, white background)
- Confirmation of Visa Issuance Number
- Degree or Documents proving your professional experiences
- CV/Resume
- Apostilled Degree Certificate from the last school attended
- Employment Contract
- Documents with regards to the establishment of an inviting institution
- Business Registration Certificate
- Visa Fee (Varies per country)
Steps for Visa Application
- Step 1: Find a company or insitution that can sponsor your visa.
- Step 2: Once a company has agreed to employ you and sponsor your visa, you must sign the contract and give the documents needed for the Visa issuance application
- Step 3: The sponsoring company must then proceed with the Visa Issuance Application
- Step 4: After the Visa issuance application is complete, the company will then send the necessary documents like the Visa Issuance Number to the applicant
- Step 5: The applicant must then apply for a visa at the Korean Embassy, Consulate, or Immigration office
- Step 6: If the visa has been granted, you can now prepare for your departure for Korea
