Free Event: Genie Culture BAM of barracks

How have you been during the time? Finally, Genie Culture's free tour begins.This time, a special camping tour will be held free of charge in Gangjin, where Jeolla barracks are located.
Gangjin Barracks Tour - A Breath of History!
Hello, fellow GenieCulture group members, why don't you head to the Gangjin Fortress right now? As one of Korea's historical relics, Gangjin Barracks is loved by many for its deep historical significance and beautiful scenery.
Gangjin County and Genie Culture are teaming up to offer a free tour for foreigners in the fourth week of September! Join Genie Culture as we head to Gangjin for the Gangjin Barracks Night Festival on September 22, 23 and sleeping at the camping site .

- This event is only open to foreigners.
- This tour is only for adults of legal age.- This is an overnight tour
- Registration starts from 08.01 (Tue) to 09.15 (Fri)
- You can choose one of the days
- Please arrive at least 30 minutes before departure time.
- This and future trips are heavily dependent on actual attendance, so if you know for sure that you can make this trip, please DM us at least 3 days in advance, or if you can't make it at the last minute, please give your spot to the next person on the waitlist.
- Failure to show up on the day of the tour may penalize you from participating in future tours.

Starting place and time
- Time: 2:30 p.m. Gathering
- Location : Gwangju Asia Culture Center Fountain
          It is located at [ 41, Geumnam-ro 1(il)-ga, Dong-gu, Gwangju, Korea ].
- Please arrive at least 20 minutes before the departure time.

Festival Programs and Activities
Gangjin Barracks Night Festival stands for Bond, Alcohol, Marching & Music respectively.
1) <Bond>: Themed performance creation and exhibition content utilizing local unique culture
-A large-scale parade-type performance utilizing 'spitballing' with military participation 
- Large-scale content that involves residency artists, local artists, and civilians.
2) <Alcohol>: A taste festival that spreads healthy drinking culture using Gangjin's representative liquor products such as Hamel beer and Byeongyeong soju.
- Promotion and tasting booths for local representative alcoholic beverages such as Hamel beer (Dutch collaboration), Byeongyeong soju and makgeolli, and locally developed Shine Musket wine
- Food court with alcohol product pairings
- Non-alcoholic cocktail booths targeting children and young people
3) <Marching & Music> Gangjin's characteristic performances (theme performances, etc.) featuring music and military history
- Various types of marching performances such as military music, farm music, and dance performance: participation of domestic and foreign military bands and ancient enemy universities
- Korean-style marching performances: theme performances that combine tradition and modernity, such as fusion of agricultural music (pungmulpae) and dance performance (modern dance)

- 14:30 ~ 15:00 : Gathering at the fountain of the Gwangju Asian Culture Center
- 15:00 ~ 16:00 : Travel to Gangjin
- 16:00 ~ 17:40 : Check in and Gangjin Barracks  Fam Tour- 17:40 ~ 19:00 : Dinner
- 19:00 ~ 20:00 : Participate in the opening ceremony and watch the performances
- 20:00 ~ 22:00 : Performances by artists and famous Korean singers (Maktub)
- 22:00 ~ 24:00 : night party at camping site(Busking in the camping zone)
- 24:00 ~ : sleeping at the camping site-23th 13:00 -Check out and heading back to Gwangju

- 14:30 ~ 17:30 : participate in the village culture parade with marching band and massive dancing performance(kangkangsule)- 17:40 ~ 19:00 : Dinner- 19:00 ~ 20:00 : Watch the performances (korean artists)
- 20:00 ~ 21:00 : Illusion magic show
- 21:00 ~ 22:00 : Performances by artists and Korean celebrity singers (CLC Yee Eun, Jang Yoon Jung)
- 22:00 ~ 24:00 : Busking in the Camping Zone
- 24:00 ~ : sleeping at the camping site
