Korea e-Arrival Card: What to Check Before Your Trip

Preparing to enter Korea? Check whether you need an arrival declaration and use the official e-Arrival Card website if it applies to you.

When Can You Submit It?

The official e-Arrival Card website says to complete and submit the form within three days before arrival. Follow the eligible arrival dates displayed on the site. Open the official e-Arrival Card website

Have your passport, travel itinerary and accommodation details ready so you can enter information accurately.

Check Whether You Are Exempt

Not every traveler needs an arrival card. For example, the official K-ETA guide states that travelers with valid K-ETA approval are exempt from submitting an arrival card. Official K-ETA guidance

Being exempt from applying for K-ETA is different from holding an approved K-ETA. Check the arrival-declaration requirements that apply to your circumstances.

Keep the Processes Separate

The e-Arrival Card is an arrival declaration, not a visa application. Confirm your visa or visa-free entry requirements separately before travelling.
