A walk through Korea becomes more interesting when you understand the places around you. Odii, the Korea Tourism Organization’s free audio travel service, offers a way to hear those stories while exploring at your own pace.

Plan a simple audio-guided outing

Choose a destination first, then check whether Odii offers content for that location in your preferred language. Preview a recording before setting out so you know what to expect and can check that playback works on your phone.

Build your visit around a few stops instead of trying to hear every available story. Leave time to look closely at buildings, signs and details mentioned in the narration.

Bring earphones and keep the volume low enough to remain aware of people and traffic. Pause in a suitable place when a story needs your attention.

Check opening hours, admission arrangements and access notices separately with the attraction. An audio guide provides background; it does not establish whether a venue is open on your chosen day.
