Contact your local center and check:

• Is my child’s age group eligible?

• Is the bilingual family program currently accepting applications?

• Do parents and children attend together?

• Which languages can the staff support?

• What documents are needed to register?

“Hello, we are a multicultural family raising a young child. We would like information about your bilingual family program.”

Before contacting the center, think about what you want help with: using your home language during play, sharing books together or involving both parents in everyday conversations. Explaining your goal can help staff identify suitable support.
