Noraebang Basics

How to use a Noraebang:
There are 2 basic choices: Room Noraebang where you pay per hour, order food and drinks, and sing unlimited number of songs. The other option is to go to a Coin Noraebang where you pay per song (usually it's 2-3 songs for 1000 won).
Room Noraebang
- Step 1: Find a Noraebang by searching for 노래방 on your map
- Step 2: If you are going to a room type, tell the staff how long you intend to stay and then pay for the room. The staff will then tell you which room to go to
- Step 3: Proceed to the assigned room
- Step 4: Look for the Remote Control and the Song book
- Step 5: Select your song and sing!
Coin Noraebang
- Step 1: Find a Noraebang by searching for 코인노래방 on your map
- Step 2: If there are staff members at the front desk, tell them how many people are in your group, then they will assign you to a vacant room. If there is no staff, just proceed to an empty booth.
- Step 3: Don't forget to ask for microphone covers to keep the equipment clean
- Step 4: Proceed to the assigned room
- Step 5: Look for the Remote Control and the Song book
- Step 6: Select your song, insert a money into the slot, and get ready to sing!
How to use a Noraebang Remote Control
The Remote Control might overwhelm you because of all the buttons. Don't worry and just follow the steps bellow.
- 국가별: Select the language/country of the song you want to sing (You can see the language flag on the screen)
-You have the option to search by: Song Title 제목, Artist 가수, or lyrics 가사
-Select the typing language by pressing on the 한/영 button 한 is for Korean, and 영 is for English
-Type in the song title, artist, or lyric of choice then press ENTER
-A list of songs will pop up on the screen. Move the up down buttons until you find the song you want to sing
-To select a song and play it immediately, press 시작 or Start
-To cancel playing the song, press 취소
-To reserve a song, press 예약
-To reserve a song and play it immediately after the current song, press 운선 예약
-To cancel a reserved song, press 예약 취소
-Alternatively, you can look at the song book and search for the song number instead
