Hyundai Motorstudio Busan invites you to a special exhibition, “Plastic: Remaking Our World”, co-organized with Vitra Design Museum.

Hyundai Motorstudio is Hyundai Motor’s branded experience spacedesigned to communicate and present special experiences through various spaces and programs under the brand vision "Progress for Humanity." Hyundai Motorstudio has several branches in Korea and abroad, each studio having its own concept. Especially at Hyundai Motorstudio Busan, we showcase various art and design contents that reflect Hyundai Motor’s design philosophy under thestudio’s concept, ‘Design to live by.’

About the Current Exhibition

An eye-opening journey through the past, present, and future of plastic

🧪 This groundbreaking exhibition explores how plastic—one of the most influential yet controversial materials of our time—has shaped our world. From its invention to its widespread use in daily life, the exhibition invites visitors to reflect on the duality of plastic: its convenience and innovation vs. its environmental cost and sustainability challenges.

🔍 Originally curated by the Vitra Design Museum in Germany, this exhibition is presented in Busan as a collaboration with Hyundai Motorstudio. Visitors will encounter thought-provoking objects, multimedia installations, and design solutions that envision a brighter sustainable future.

Enjoy a 30-minute guided tour with our Gurus, experts filled with great insights and stories to share. Mobile Docent audio guides are also available in Korean, English and Chinese to gain a deeper understanding of the exhibition.

About Michael’s Urban Farm Table

Located on the 4th floor, Michael’s Urban Farm Table offers a New American-style dining experience, creatively reinterpreting dishes from around the world using fresh, local creatively reinterpreting global dishes using a variety of ingredients that reflect the local flavors of Busan.

Co-operated with Haevichi Hotels & Resorts, this casual dining venue has been awarded two ribbons in the 2023 Blue Ribbon Survey, Korea’s premier restaurant guide.

• Closed on the first Monday of every month, January 1, and for two days from Lunar New Year and Chuseok
