NCB Partners with Korean CEOs to Unlock Job Opportunities for Nepalese Students in Busan

The Nepalese Community in Busan (NCB), under the leadership of President Ashok Acharya, held a formal meeting today with prominent CEO's and Legal Advisors to discuss opportunities for Nepalese students in Busan.

 The meeting was attended by:

  1.  Jeon Chil-woo (전칠우), CEO of Juwon Construction Co., Ltd. (Construction & Engineering),
  2. CEO of 아시아로드 (Asia Road) (Hospitality, Trade & Services),
  3. Kim Hyun-jin, Certified Public Labor Attorney (Labor Law & Legal Advisory),
  4.  James Jun (전계석), External Cooperation Director (Cooperation & Business Development)
  5. Ashok Acharya, President of Nepalese Community In Busan (NCB)

Discussions centered on how Nepalese students in Busan could be supported through part-time employment opportunities in sectors such as cafés, industries, hotels, and restaurants.

Both parties reached a mutual understanding to establish a stronger partnership. An official Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) will soon be signed between NCB and the participating companies to create structured pathways for Nepalese students to access part-time jobs and receive meaningful community support.

President Acharya expressed optimism that the collaboration will provide tangible benefits:

"This meeting is a step forward for our community students. We hope it will bring good outcomes, and after the MoU, many Nepalese students in Busan may find real help and opportunities through this partnership."

This initiative marks a significant milestone for NCB’s mission to enhance the welfare, opportunities, and integration of Nepalese students in Busan.
