The Nepalese Community in Busan (NCB), a family-like support organization for Nepalese students and residents in the city, organized a candlelight gathering and prayer in memory of the students who lost their lives during the recent Gen-Z protest in Nepal on Tuesday, September 10, 2025.

The event was held at Kyungsung University in Busan, where Nepalese students, community members, and supporters came together to honor the victims and express solidarity with their families and the people of Nepal.

Speaking at the gathering, organizers expressed their deep sorrow over the tragic loss of young lives and emphasized the importance of peace and unity during this challenging period for Nepal.

The Nepalese Community in Busan has been actively supporting Nepalese residents in the region, organizing cultural, social, and awareness programs. This candlelight prayer marked another step in bringing the community together, while also sharing their voices of hope and remembrance from abroad. 

The participants expressed gratitude to Kyungsung University for providing space on short notice and to all those who attended the event to pay tribute to the fallen students.
