Seoul Pick Challenge – Discover the Charm of Seoul
Propose your ideas for tourism in Seoul’s autonomous districts through the “Seoul Pick Challenge”!

○ Eligibility

Open to Korean and international youth aged 19 to 34 currently residing in Korea.

○ Submission Deadline

Friday, July 4, 2025, by 4:00 PM (KST)

○ Awards and Prizes

1. Support for Participating Teams (50 teams total):

• Domestic teams: KRW 200,000

• International or mixed-nationality teams: KRW 300,000
  (Support is provided in the form of reimbursement upon submission of proof, subject to a 8.8% tax deduction)

2. Final Evaluation & Awards for 6 Outstanding Teams:

• Trophies and cash prizes will be awarded.

  • Grand Prize (1 team): KRW 1,000,000

  • Excellence Award (2 teams): KRW 700,000 each

  • Merit Award (3 teams): KRW 500,000 each

• Awards will be presented during the final outcome-sharing workshop.

○ Evaluation Criteria (1st Round – Document Screening)

1. Local Relevance: Reflects local characteristics (history, culture, tradition, natural environment, etc.)

2. Creativity: Presents unique perspectives and originality

3. Usability: Logical structure and applicability across multiple fields

4. Feasibility: Practical value and potential for commercialization as a tourism product
