Preparing for a UK Degree While Living in Korea
“Can I study online in Korea and earn a UK degree?”
Yes. ICL’s pathway offers preparatory study followed by the option to apply for a UK university Top-up degree. The final degree is awarded by the university, subject to its admission decision and graduation requirements.
The business route includes Level 4 and Level 5 Diplomas, covering 12 units and 240 UK credits. These credits are not directly equivalent to Korean university credits. Completing the Diploma does not automatically guarantee admission to a Top-up course.
Your starting point depends on your previous education. Applicants with university experience may have their transcripts and completed subjects assessed. English requirements also vary by university; completing an ESL course may not replace a required test score.
