The Korean media outlet NEWSPIM is hosting a global audition "MY KPOP STAR."

1. Required Submission 
▪ All applicants must submit both of the following videos (※ The same song may be used for both) 
❑ Horizontal Video (Full Performance) 
✓ Resolution: 1920 × 1080 
✓ Duration: One full song (complete performance) 
✓ Format: Live performance (clearly visible) / One-take recording / Multi-camera editing allowed 
❑ Vertical Video (Edited Version – within 60 sec) 
✓ Resolution: 1080 × 1920 
✓ Duration: Within 60 sec 
✓ Format: Short-form edited video / Cut editing allowed / Same audio rules apply 
※ Not Allowed : Music video-style production / Performer not appearing in the video 

2. Filming Guidelines 
❑ The performer must be clearly visible while singing and/or playing instruments 
❑ Lip-sync is strictly prohibited — live audio is required 
❑ One-take recording is the standard principle 

3. Audio & Editing Policy 
❑ Basic Principles 
✓ All videos must be based on the participant’s actual live vocal performance 
✓ Lip-sync, AI-generated voices, and voice manipulation are strictly prohibited. 
❑ Correction Policy (Minimal Adjustment Only) 
✓ Audio correction is allowed only to a minimal extent where the participant’s natural tone and vocal 
characteristics remain clearly identifiable 
✓ All adjustments must remain natural 
❑ Allowed Adjustments 
▪ The following are permitted as long as the original voice is preserved: 
✓ Pitch and timing correction (vocal tuning) 
✓ Natural tone balancing and spatial enhancement 
✓ Noise reduction and volume balancing 
❑ Restricted / Prohibited Adjustments 
▪ Submissions may be disqualified if any of the following are detected: 
✓ Use of AI-generated voice or voice transformation software 
✓ Use of another person’s voice or synthetic voice 
✓ Excessive editing that makes the participant’s original voice unrecognizable 

※ Videos in which the participant’s real voice cannot be verified due to AI processing, voice synthesis, or excessive editing may be disqualified 
※ The final judgment regarding the appropriateness of audio correction will be made at the sole discretion

of the organizer
